Every PDF you send is a leave-behind for your company. The **Exports** tab in Settings sets how your estimate and drying log PDFs look: a styled document in your brand color, or a plain black-and-white one. The choice applies to every export from your company.

Only Admins see the **Exports** tab. What goes into each PDF, like which sections and columns print, is picked in the Export dialog each time. See [Customize reports](/docs/estimates/customize-reports).

## Open the Exports tab

1. Open the account menu and choose **Settings**.
2. Select the **Exports** tab. On a phone, pick **Exports** from the dropdown at the top of Settings.

Each change saves as you make it. On paid plans, the same tab also holds the **Xactimate export** card. See [Set up the Xactimate export](/docs/account/set-up-xactimate-export).

## Styled or plain

Under **Styled exports**, choose:

- **On**: the Wave look, with a branded cover, cream paper and your accent color. This is the default.
- **Off**: a plain, conservative document with no cover and no color.

The brand color and cover style below only apply when styled exports are on. When they're off, those settings are dimmed.

## Pick a brand accent

Under **Brand accent**, pick your brand color. It fills the cover band, the grand-total banner and the drying log chart lines.

- Click one of the preset swatches. Its name shows under the row.
- Or enter your own color under **Custom color** as a 6-digit hex code, like #0052CC, and click **Apply**.

Wave checks that a custom color stays readable. If text would be hard to read on it, **Apply** stays off and Wave suggests a swatch or a clearer shade. If the color is only a little faint on the page details, Wave warns you but still lets you apply it. Colors you apply are kept under **Saved colors** in that browser, one click to pick again.

## Choose a cover style

Under **Cover style**, pick the front page of your documents:

- **Wave band**: a brand-color band across the cover with the customer name. Made for the field crew's leave-behind.
- **Wave diagonal**: the brand-color band sweeps up from the lower left to the upper right.
- **Editorial**: a light, quiet cover with a thin accent rule and the name on cream. Made for adjusters.

## Add your logo and company details

Your logo and company details come from **Settings > Company**: the logo, address, phone, email, EIN and contractor license. See [Company info](/docs/account/company-info).

If the letterhead an export is about to print is missing a logo or an address, the Export dialog shows a **Brand your PDF** note. Click **Set up company** to go straight to the Company tab.

If your company works under more than one name or location, add a letterhead for each. See [Letterheads for multiple locations](/docs/account/letterheads).

## What appears on every page

Your logo, company name, address, phone, email, license number and EIN print on the letterhead, whatever you've filled in.

On styled exports, your address, phone, email, license number and EIN also run along the footer of every page, so a single page pulled from the packet still says who sent it. This is true for drying log PDFs too. The drying log is AI-generated from the estimate and local weather, and techs should verify readings daily.
