Wave doesn't charge per seat. Invite your whole team — estimators, PMs, technicians, office — and don't worry about who'll actually use it.

## How to invite

1. Open **Profile Settings → Teams**.
2. Choose **Invite teammate**.
3. Enter the teammate's work email.
4. Pick a [role](/docs/account/roles) (Admin or Member).
5. Send the invite.

Wave emails them a signup link. When they accept and create their password, they land directly in your team's workspace.

## Admin-only

> Inviting and removing teammates requires Admin. Members can see the Teams roster but can't make changes.

## Choosing a role

- **Admin** — manages team + billing + Company Info. Promote teammates you want to share those responsibilities with.
- **Member** — everything else (create / edit / duplicate / export estimates).

You can change a role later from the Teams tab — see [User roles](/docs/account/roles).

## Removing a teammate

From the Teams tab, find the person and remove them. Their authored estimates **stay attached to the team** — only their personal access is revoked. Nothing is lost.

## Why unlimited users matters

A per-seat license model penalizes you for handing access to the technician who logs in twice a month. Wave's pricing is volume-based, not seat-based — so there's no cost to onboarding everyone, and there's a real win when even occasional users can pull up an estimate in the field instead of calling the office.
