Most contractors find Wave the same way you probably did — another contractor showed them. The referral program pays that forward: **give a month, get a month**.

## How it works

1. Open the account menu and choose **Refer & earn**.
2. Copy your personal referral link (or send it by email right from the page).
3. When someone signs up through your link, their signup shows a "Referred by" badge with your company name — and your referral page tracks where they are.
4. When they become a paying customer, your reward lands automatically as a credit on your bill.

The referral page shows each referral's status, so you always know what's pending and what's paid out.

## The fine print, briefly

- The reward is granted **once per referred company**, when they first convert to a paid plan.
- Credits apply to your subscription bill automatically — nothing to redeem.
