Some things about a job belong in the file but not on the document: "customer says drying can't start till next week," "adjuster prefers calls over email," "waiting on the plumber's invoice."

That's what **internal notes** are for — a team-private feed at the bottom of the estimate's **Info** tab.

## How they work

Type a note and post it. Notes are timestamped, carry the author's name, and stack newest-first, so opening the feed reads like a job diary. You can edit or delete your own notes; teammates' notes are theirs.

## Private means private

Internal notes are **never** printed on a PDF, included in a share link, sent in a transfer, or read by Wave in the chat. They exist for exactly one audience: your team, on this job.

That's the difference from the other notes:
