Wave remembers your estimates, and you can ask about them in plain language. No digging through the estimates list when you already know whose job it was.

## Recall an estimate in chat

Ask by customer or job name. For example:

> "pull up the Garza job"

Wave finds the matching estimate so you can review what was scoped: rooms, line items, and totals.

## What this is good for

- **Answering a callback.** A customer or adjuster phones about a job from last month. Ask Wave for it by name and you have the scope in front of you while you talk.
- **Rebuilding a similar estimate.** Scoping a loss that looks like one you have done before? Recall the earlier job and use it as your reference while you build the new one.

## When you want an exact copy

Recalling a job is for reviewing and referencing. If you want a new estimate that starts as a copy of an old one, use [Duplicate an estimate](/docs/estimates/duplicate-estimate) instead.
