Wave is compatible with Xactimate. Some carriers and TPAs want the estimate in Xactimate, not as a PDF — so in the export options, you can export your estimate straight to Xactimate.

## How to export

1. Open the estimate and click **Export**.
2. Choose the Xactimate export.
3. Wave builds the file and downloads it (on a phone, the share sheet opens instead).
4. Import it in Xactimate like any estimate file.

From there it's a normal Xactimate estimate — rooms, line items, and quantities intact, reviewable and editable like anything else in that system.

## Availability

Xactimate export is available on **Basic and above**, and included in the free trial. See [Plans and limits](/docs/billing/plan-comparison).
