Export to Xactimate

Wave is compatible with Xactimate. In the export options, you can export your estimate to Xactimate and keep working there — rooms, line items, and quantities intact.

Wave is compatible with Xactimate. Some carriers and TPAs want the estimate in Xactimate, not as a PDF — so in the export options, you can export your estimate straight to Xactimate.

How to export

  1. Open the estimate and click Export.
  2. Choose the Xactimate export.
  3. Wave builds the file and downloads it (on a phone, the share sheet opens instead).
  4. Import it in Xactimate like any estimate file.

From there it's a normal Xactimate estimate — rooms, line items, and quantities intact, reviewable and editable like anything else in that system.
