Get Started

Sign in and account basics

Log in at go.buildwithwave.com/auth. Reset your password from the login screen if you've forgotten it. Two roles exist on a Wave team: Admin and Member.

The Wave app lives at go.buildwithwave.com. The marketing site you're reading right now (buildwithwave.com) is for product info and docs. Sign-in happens on the app at go.buildwithwave.com.

Logging in

  1. Go to go.buildwithwave.com/auth.
  2. Enter the email and password you signed up with.

You land on the home page: a greeting and a composer box where you can start a new estimate right away. Your recent estimates appear there too.

Forgot password

On the login screen, choose Forgot password, enter the email on your account, and Wave will send you a reset link. The link is single-use and expires after a short window. If it expires before you click it, request a new one.

Roles in a nutshell

Every Wave teammate is either an Admin or a Member.

  • Admins can do everything, including the Pricing, Team, and Billing tabs in settings: invite teammates, set custom prices, change plan, view billing history.
  • Members can do everything else: create, edit, duplicate, export, and download estimates.

Trouble signing in

If a password reset doesn't get you in, email hello@buildwithwave.com from the address on your account. Don't send credentials in email; we can recover access without that.
