Company Info

Company-level fields that flow into every estimate — logo, address, TIN, license number, Customer Policies. Admin-only. Set once and every PDF inherits.

Company Info is the shared brand layer for every estimate your team produces. Anything that appears on the cover page of an exported PDF — logo, address, license, tax ID, your standard policies — is set here, once, and inherited by every estimate without re-typing.

The full field list

In the order the tab presents them:

  1. Company Name
  2. Company Logo — used for letterhead on every exported PDF and in the app header
  3. Company AddressAddress Line 1, Address Line 2 (optional), City, State, ZIP Code
  4. Company Phone
  5. Company Email
  6. TIN# — Tax Identification Number (EIN, ITIN, or equivalent for your jurisdiction)
  7. Contractors License # — your operating license number
  8. Customer Policies — see below

Customer Policies

Customer Policies is a free-text field for company-wide policies that should appear on every estimate's PDF. Use it for the language you'd otherwise re-type on every job:

  • "Net 30 invoice terms"
  • "3% credit card surcharge"
  • "50% deposit required to start work"
  • "All change orders must be approved in writing"

It's different from per-estimate Estimate Notes and per-line Notes:

The flow: standard language goes in Customer Policies. Job-specific context goes in Estimate Notes. Line-specific clarifications go in line-item Notes. See Edit estimate-level notes for the per-estimate layer.

Who can edit

Only Admins can edit Company Info. Members see the rest of the app normally but the Company Info tab is read-only or hidden for them. If you're a Member and you need a change, ask an Admin.

Where each field shows up

After saving, Company Info flows into:

  • The header and footer of every exported PDF (logo, name, address, phone, email)
  • The TIN# and Contractors License # on the PDF cover where carriers expect them
  • The Customer Policies block on the PDF cover, beneath your standard estimate notes
  • The team display name when you invite teammates (so they know which company's Wave they're joining)

Changes apply to all future exports. PDFs you've already downloaded are static.

When to update

  • Logo change or rebrand — update once and it propagates
  • New office address — same
  • Renewed or added license — same
  • Adding standard policy language — append to Customer Policies; every future estimate inherits
