Drying Logs (Beta)

Record drying readings

Log the real numbers from your meters, in the grid or by telling Wave in chat. Your readings are never overwritten.

Last updated

Beta: Drying logs are in beta and available on select plans. Details may change as we improve the feature.

The drying grid shows chambers as rows and days as columns. Suggested targets appear in light text; readings you record appear clearly emphasized, so anyone reading the log can tell the difference at a glance.

Record in the grid

  1. Open the Drying tab.
  2. Click the cell for the chamber and day you measured (on mobile, tap the cell to open a form).
  3. Enter the value and press Enter.

Enter just the fields you measured. Anything you did not measure keeps its suggested value and stays visibly marked as a suggestion, so your log never claims a measurement you did not take.

Made a typo? Press ⌘Z (Ctrl+Z) on the Drying tab to undo your last edits. Editing one field never wipes the others in that cell.

Record by chat or voice

Tell Wave the numbers the way you would say them on site:

  • "Temp 72, humidity 41 in the master bedroom"
  • "Living room is down to 12 percent moisture today"

Wave logs them to the right chamber and day. With the mic button you can dictate readings hands-free while you work. See Use voice input.

Your readings are yours

A recorded reading is never changed by Wave. Adjusting or regenerating the plan updates future suggestions only; everything you recorded stays exactly as you entered it.

Watch the flags

When your readings drift from the targets, Wave points it out, for example humidity holding high after the first day. Flags are prompts to check the job, not conclusions. You know the site; the flags just make sure nothing slips by between visits.
