Billing & Plans

Change your plan

Go to Settings > Billing and click Manage plan to open the billing portal, where you switch tiers. Upgrade prompts also appear wherever a feature is gated.

Plan changes run through the billing portal. You reach it from the Billing tab in Settings.

How to change your plan

  1. Open the account menu and choose Settings.
  2. Select the Billing tab. You will see your plan name and renewal date.
  3. Click Manage plan. The billing portal opens.
  4. Pick your new plan and confirm.

Wave reflects the change automatically. There is nothing to confirm back in the app.

Upgrade prompts

You do not have to start from Settings. When a feature is not included in your plan, an upgrade prompt appears right where you need it. For example, exporting a PDF on the free trial shows an upgrade prompt instead of the download. Follow the prompt and you land in the same plan options.

Who can do this

Admins only. Members do not see the Billing tab. If you are a Member and your team needs a plan change, ask an Admin.

Picking a tier

This page is the how. For which tier fits, see Plans and limits. The short version:

  • Free trial: 3 estimates, no PDF export, no industry codes, 5 follow-up chat messages per completed estimate
  • Starter / Basic / Pro: 10 / 20 / 60 estimates per month, with export, codes, and unlimited follow-up chat
  • Basic, Pro, and Enterprise: add drying logs (beta)
