Customize reports
Choose a document type (Full Document, Estimate Only, or Estimate & Drying Log), toggle photos, cover page, and company logo, and watch the live preview update before you export.
Before you export, you choose what goes into the report. Wave shows a live preview on desktop, so you see exactly what the customer or adjuster will get.
Pick a document type
- Full Document: cover page, the estimate, and photos.
- Estimate Only: just the line items and totals.
- Estimate & Drying Log: the estimate plus the drying log, when a drying log exists for the job. Drying logs are in beta and available on select plans.
Toggle what's included
Three toggles, each with a live preview on desktop:
- Include photos
- Include cover page
- Include company logo
Your logo comes from Settings > Company. See Company Info.
What each report includes
The estimate PDF contains: the cover page (optional), your company info and logo, customer and loss details, per-room line items with quantities and prices, notes, modifiers, photos (optional), room subtotals, and the grand total. Multi-unit estimates group by unit with per-unit subtotals; see Estimate a multi-unit loss.
The drying log PDF contains: the chambers and days grid, daily targets, your recorded readings, and progress.
Filenames
Exports are named after the estimate, like EST-XXXXXXXX.pdf. Drying log exports add a -drylog suffix, and the combined report adds -combined.
