Estimates
Use the command palette
Press ⌘K to search every action in Wave: export, undo, lock, duplicate, change status, jump to a room, and more. Press ? for the full shortcuts overlay.
The command palette is the fastest way to do anything in Wave without hunting through menus.
Open it
Press ⌘K (Ctrl+K) from anywhere in the app.
Search for an action
Start typing and the palette filters as you go. Actions you can run from the palette include:
- Export and print
- Undo and redo
- Lock and unlock the estimate
- Duplicate the estimate
- Change status
- Delete
- Add or edit line items, notes, and modifiers
- Show or hide industry codes
- Jump to a room
- Open settings and switch tabs
Press Enter to run the highlighted command.
Recent commands float to the top
The palette remembers what you use. Your recently used commands appear first when you open it, so repeat actions become two keystrokes: ⌘K, Enter.
Learn the shortcuts as you go
Commands that have a keyboard shortcut show it right next to the command name. Next time you can skip the palette entirely.
Want them all in one place? Press ? to open the shortcuts overlay, which lists every keyboard shortcut in Wave. The full list also lives at Keyboard shortcuts.
