Wave is self-serve. You don't need to schedule a demo or talk to anyone to start estimating. Sign up and you're in the app.
Before you start
- A work email address
- Your company name (you can refine company-level details in Company Info after signup)
Sign up
- Go to go.buildwithwave.com.
- Choose Create account and enter your name, email, and password.
- Verify your email when the verification link arrives.
- You land in the app on the free trial.
The free trial gives you 3 estimates with every Basic feature unlocked — PDF export, industry codes, Xactimate export, drying logs, and estimate defensibility — so you can verify Wave is right for your team before you pay. The one trial-specific limit: after an estimate is completed, you can send up to 5 follow-up chat messages on it. Manual edits on the estimate canvas are never limited. What to do next
- Set up your company. Open Company Info and add your logo, address, and contact info. These flow into every estimate PDF.
- Add the rest of your team. See Invite a teammate.
