Wave in Your Workflow

Put Wave to work in your workflow

Pick the way of working that fits your day, from a same-visit quote to a daily-updated claim, whether you build estimates, review them or run the job.

Last updated

Wave fits the way you already work. Start an estimate at the first visit, keep it current as the job moves, and send the right document to the right person: a customer, a property manager, an adjuster or your own team. Whether you build estimates, review them or run the job, you can pick the flow below that matches your day.

What the flows have in common

These flows use the same few building blocks, so what you learn in one carries over to the others.

  1. Tell Wave what you see. Type it, say it, or add photos, in the job's chat or the Home box. See Make your first estimate.
  2. Review the estimate. The Estimates tab builds live, and you can adjust it in chat or by hand.
  3. Choose the right document. A branded PDF, a customer-friendly share link or a collaborator link for an adjuster. See Export reports.
  4. Keep the job current. Notes, photos, schedule and readings all live on the job, so the whole team sees the same picture. See Inside a job.

Who these flows are for

Restoration contractors and adjusters use these flows to move from the first visit to a finished document, whether they work on site, at the desk or both. Sales and marketing reps use them to leave a quote on site. Adjusters, carriers and TPAs use the share and review flows to read an estimate, ask questions on the exact line and follow changes. Adjusters create an account the same way as any company and get their own plan and estimate credits, to build and compare estimates. See Review and produce estimates as an adjuster. You can mix these flows on one job.

Tip

Start with the flow closest to today's job, then borrow steps from the others. A quote you sent as a Client summary can become a full estimate for an adjuster later, because it is the same estimate on the same job.
