Wave in Your Workflow

Quote on site as a sales or marketing rep

Walk a new client's property, build a quote with Wave on your phone and leave it with the property manager before you head to the next stop.

Last updated

Turn a site visit into a quote before you leave the property. Whether you are meeting a property manager at a condominium, an HOA board member or the manager of an apartment complex, you can describe what you see, review the estimate on your phone and send it while you are still there.

How it works with Wave

  1. Create the job from the property. Open go.buildwithwave.com on your phone, tell Wave the client, address and what you see, and add photos. See Create a job and Use Wave on your phone.
  2. Describe it out loud. Tap the mic and walk the area. Each take is added to your draft, so you can record room by room. See Use voice input.
  3. Group the work by unit. For a building with more than one unit, tell Wave which unit each room belongs to, and the estimate groups rooms by unit with a subtotal for each. See Estimate a multi-unit loss.
  4. Review on your phone. Open the Estimates tab, tap a line to edit it or ask Wave to change it. See Use Wave on your phone.
  5. Leave the quote. Choose Export, then either send a Share link for the customer, which opens as a clean branded page with no sign-in, or tap Send PDF to text or email a branded PDF. Choose the Client summary report for a room-by-room scope with one total. See Customize reports.
  6. Hand the job to your team. Use Assign on the job's Overview to bring in a project manager, and ask Wave to book a visit, such as "Send Luis to the Garza job tomorrow at 9". See Job details, contacts and team and Book a visit.

Tip

Add a Project note with your terms before you send, for example your deposit or scheduling notes, so the property manager reads them right next to the numbers. See Project notes.

Availability

Each estimate uses one estimate credit, and jobs use none. See How estimate credits work.
