Account settings

Update your name, email, and password from the Account tab in Settings. These are your personal details; every teammate has their own.

The Account tab in Settings holds the details tied to you as a user: your name, your email, and your password. Each teammate has their own. Nothing here affects the rest of your team.

How to update your details

  1. Open the account menu and choose Settings.
  2. Select the Account tab.
  3. Edit the field you want to change:
    • Name: how you appear to your team.
    • Email: the address you sign in with.
    • Password: set a new password.
  4. Watch for the "Saved" indicator to pulse. That confirms the change took.

Your role

Whether you are an Admin or a Member is managed by an Admin, not from the Account tab. Your role decides whether you see the Pricing, Team, and Billing tabs in Settings. See User roles.

What is not on the Account tab

  • How Wave looks and behaves for you (theme, send key, industry codes): the Preferences tab
  • Company name, phone, address, and logo: the Company tab, shared across your team
  • Invites and roles: the Team tab, Admin only
  • Plan and invoices: the Billing tab, Admin only
