Download photos

Download a job's photos from its Files tab as one ZIP, one room at a time or a hand-picked set, with files named by room, number and date.

Get a job's photos out of Wave quickly, as one ZIP, a single room or a hand-picked set. Each file is named by room, number and date, so a carrier portal or file request gets a set that makes sense on its own.

Everything is on the job's Files tab, sorted by room, so you can grab the whole job or just "everything from the hall bathroom."

Download the whole job

  1. Open the job from Jobs and go to Files.
  2. Open the ⋮ next to Add files and choose Download all · N.

You get one ZIP of the job's files, including original videos and PDFs along with photos. Each file is named by room, its number in that room and the date it was taken (or uploaded, if the photo carries no date), like Kitchen_004_20260830.jpg. A file you renamed keeps the name you gave it. For very large jobs, the ZIP holds the newest 1,000 files.

Download one room

  1. Click the download icon on the room's header on the Files tab. You can also right-click the header, or open its ⋮, and choose Download all.

You get a ZIP of that room. Each upload date inside a room has its own Download all in its ⋮ menu, for a ZIP of that day.

Download a selection

To download only photos, narrow the tab first with the filter at the top (All files, Photos, Videos, Documents).

  1. Select the files: ⌘-click or Ctrl-click, Shift-click a range, or drag a box over empty space. On a phone, press and hold a file to start.
  2. Right-click the selection (or use a file's menu button) and choose Download.

A selection downloads each file separately. For a ZIP, use Download all or a room download.

Photos and PDFs

Photos and PDFs are exported separately, so you can send exactly what the carrier asks for. To put photos inside the PDF, turn on Estimate photo appendix under PDF contents in the Export dialog, or add the Photos report under Include in PDF. If the carrier wants both a PDF and loose photo files, do both.
