Download photos
Download some or all of an estimate's photos from the Photos tab when a carrier or insured needs the photo set separate from the PDF.
You'll download photos when you need to hand the carrier or insured a clean photo set separate from the estimate PDF. Pick the photos you want on the Photos tab, then download.
How to download
- Open the Photos tab in the estimate workspace.
- Start the download action to enter selection mode.
- Tick the photos you want, or select all of them.
- Download.
Photos are organized by room on the tab, so grabbing "everything from the hall bathroom" is a quick visual pass rather than a hunt through filenames.
PDF export is a separate operation
Downloading photos doesn't generate a PDF. Exporting a PDF doesn't separately download the photos.
The exported document can include the photos inline (the Full Document type carries cover page, estimate, and photos). If the carrier wants both a PDF and loose photo files, do both operations.

Multi-unit estimates
On multi-unit losses, photos are captioned per unit and room, so a downloaded set from a three-unit job stays sortable after it leaves Wave. See Multi-unit estimates.
