Ask Wave about photos

Attach photos in chat and ask Wave what it sees: equipment checks, demo verification, scope questions. Wave proposes changes; you confirm them.

Photos in chat aren't just documentation — you can ask Wave about them. Attach a photo, ask your question, and Wave looks before it answers.

How to attach

Click the paperclip in the chat composer (or drag photos in), pick up to 5 photos, type your question, and send. JPEG and PNG, up to 5 MB each.

What to ask

The questions that work best are the ones you'd ask a senior tech looking over your shoulder:

  • "Is this enough equipment for this room?"
  • "Is this demo reflected in the estimate?"
  • "Does this look like Category 2 to you?"
  • "Anything in this photo I forgot to scope?"

Wave describes what it sees, compares it against the estimate where that's relevant, and — if something's off — proposes the change in chat.

You stay in control

A photo never silently edits your estimate. If Wave spots a gap (say, the photo shows four air movers and the estimate has two), it offers the change and you confirm or decline it in chat. The scoping conversation stays the source of truth.

A few honest limits: Wave won't take measurements from a photo (dimensions come from you), it keeps mold observations appropriately cautious, and it won't rebuild an estimate from a screenshot of another document.

Where the photos go

Chat photos land on the Files tab under Other, untagged. Use Move to room… on any photo to tag it, and it joins the room-grouped photos that can print on the PDF like any other. See Upload and tag photos.
