Billing & Plans
Plans and limits
Wave's plan tiers and what each one unlocks. For current prices, see the pricing page. The big differences are the estimate cap, the chat-edit cap, and PDF export.
Wave has five plan tiers. Prices change occasionally; this page focuses on what each tier unlocks. For current prices, see the pricing page.
The tiers
- Free — no credit card required. Use it to verify Wave fits your workflow.
- Pro — for individual contractors and small teams getting started.
- Growth — for active teams handling more weekly volume.
- Ultra — for established restoration firms running steady volume. Per-location pricing, no estimate cap.
- Enterprise — multi-location operators with custom needs (centralized reporting, account management, custom auth). Contact us.
What's the same across all paid plans
- Unlimited users — no per-seat fee
- Voice + text chat questionnaire
- Regional price database (US ZIP / Canadian postal code)
- Water, mold, and storm losses
- Multi-room jobs
- Photo documentation (upload, tag, included in PDF)
- PDF export with company branding
- Two roles (Admin / Member)
What's different on Free
Free plan caps:
- 3 estimates total (lifetime, not monthly)
- 5 chat-driven edits per estimate
- No PDF export
You can still build a complete estimate and review it in the right pane on Free — you just can't export the PDF.
When you hit any of these caps, the next action is gated by an "upgrade to continue" prompt. Upgrading lifts all three caps in one step.
What's different across paid tiers
The main axis is estimate volume:
- Pro and Growth suit different volumes of monthly estimating activity. Choose based on how active your team is.
- Ultra removes the estimate ceiling — unlimited estimates per location. Best for shops where estimating is daily.
- Enterprise adds operational features: centralized multi-location reporting, account management, custom auth (SSO).
For current prices, terms, and any active promotions, the pricing page is the source of truth.
Annual vs. monthly billing
All paid plans support annual billing. Annual is the better deal for any team committing to Wave for the year — see pricing page for current annual savings.
Switching plans
You can upgrade or downgrade any time. See Change your plan for the mechanics.
