Plans and limits

What each Wave plan unlocks: monthly estimate volume, exports, industry codes, drying logs, defensibility, and integrations. Prices live on the pricing page.

The tiers

  • Free trial: no credit card required. Your first 3 estimates include every Basic feature, so you try Wave at full strength.
  • Starter: 10 estimates per month. For individual contractors and small teams getting started.
  • Basic: 20 estimates per month, plus Xactimate export, precision drying logs, industry-standard defensibility, carrier guideline review, and the QuickBooks integration. For active teams with steady weekly volume.
  • Pro: high-volume estimating, plus everything in Basic. For established firms where estimating is daily work.
  • Enterprise: custom. Contact us.

The free trial

The free trial includes 3 estimates with every Basic feature unlocked: PDF export with your branding, industry codes, Xactimate export, drying logs, and estimate defensibility. Build real estimates, export them, and see exactly what your team would get on a paid plan.

One trial-specific limit applies: after an estimate is completed, you can send up to 5 follow-up chat messages on it to make changes. Manual edits on the estimate canvas are never limited — click any cell and adjust as much as you need.

When your 3 estimates are used, an upgrade prompt appears where you'd start the next one. See Change your plan.

What Basic and above add

  • Xactimate export — Wave is compatible with Xactimate; export your estimate to it right from the Export options. See Export to Xactimate.

  • Industry-standard defensibility — an auto-generated standards rationale on every completed estimate. See Standards rationale.

  • QuickBooks integration — send finished estimates to QuickBooks Online as draft invoices. See Connect QuickBooks.
