Estimates

Ask Wave about past jobs

Recall earlier estimates right in chat by customer or job name. Review scope from a previous loss or use it as the starting point for a similar one.

Last updated

Wave remembers your estimates, and you can ask about them in plain language. No digging through the estimates list when you already know whose job it was.

Recall an estimate in chat

Ask by customer or job name. For example:

"pull up the Garza job"

Wave finds the matching estimate so you can review what was scoped: rooms, line items, and totals.

What this is good for

  • Answering a callback. A customer or adjuster phones about a job from last month. Ask Wave for it by name and you have the scope in front of you while you talk.
  • Rebuilding a similar estimate. Scoping a loss that looks like one you have done before? Recall the earlier job and use it as your reference while you build the new one.

When you want an exact copy

Recalling a job is for reviewing and referencing. If you want a new estimate that starts as a copy of an old one, use Duplicate an estimate instead.
