Estimates
Ask Wave about documents
Attach PDFs in chat — adjuster scopes, policies, moisture logs — and ask Wave questions, or have it compare a document against your estimate.
The paperwork around a job — adjuster scopes, carrier to-do lists, policies, moisture logs — can go straight into the chat. Attach a PDF and ask.
How to attach
Click the paperclip in the chat composer and pick a PDF (up to 2 per message, 20 MB each), type your question, and send.
What to ask
- "What does this adjuster scope include that my estimate doesn't?"
- "Summarize what this policy says about mold coverage."
- "Does my estimate line up with the readings in this moisture log?"
- "What's this document asking me to do?"
Wave reads the document, answers, and where you ask for a comparison, walks the differences against your estimate line by line.
Q&A and compare — not rebuild
Wave answers questions about documents and flags differences; it doesn't reconstruct an estimate from one. If a comparison surfaces a change worth making, Wave proposes it in chat and you confirm — same rule as photos: nothing you attach edits the estimate on its own.
Where the documents go
PDFs attached in chat also appear on the Files tab under Attachments, so the whole job's paperwork stays in one place.
